Fuchsia’s an all new platform that will eventually replace Android in next 5 years

Hello Everyone…Welcome to TechPunch
In this thread we are going to see about the Fuchsia OS.Related image
Android is currently the world’s most popular mobile operating system, with Apple trailing close behind in second place. Lots have changed since the first iPhone was released, and while history has been very kind to both platforms, who knew Android would be this massive?
Google is already working on an operating system that may replace Android in the next five years.
The tech giant has reportedly been tinkering on the OS, codenamed “Fuchsia,” for over two years and now has more than 100 engineers working on the project, according to Bloomberg.
Unlike Android, which was designed as an operating system primarily for smartphones and devices with touchscreens, Fuchsia is said to put voice-controls and AI front and center
“It’s being designed to better accommodate voice interactions and frequent security updates and to look the same across a range of devices, from laptops to tiny internet-connected sensors,” Bloomberg reports. Engineers currently working the project are said to be working towards getting Fuchsia running on voice-controlled speakers “within three years, then move on to larger machines such as laptops.”
Fuchsia’s underlying architecture also differs from Android. Whereas Android is built on Linux, Fuchsia is based on a microkernel called “Zircon.” Switching from Linux would likely introduce many incompatibilities with older hardware at first, but it would also mean dumping old, slow technologies for newer, faster ones.

Will it really replace Android & Chrome OS?

It’s my opinion that, Android is too much featured and popular Mobile OS than all other OS. Replacing Android by Fuchsia is too much risky work for Google. Because still Fuchsia is in Beta Phase and no one knows when it will become available in Official Stable Phase. Google wants to replace their Chrome and Android both OS with Fuchsia New OS, They want to do something same as Microsoft (Windows) and Apple. Google wants to run Fuchsia in both Mobile and Desktop versions. It may possible in later 10-15 years.
The fact that Google is working on Fuchsia shouldn’t surprise anyone. The future waits for no one and if any OS is going to replace Android, it’s better that it comes from Google themselves 😁
