YouTube dark mode rolls out for some Android Devices

Hello Everyone…Welcome to TechPunch
This time, I am back with the new Tech update about Youtube..

Youtube has started rolling out YouTube dark mode for its Android users, a quarter after iOS devices received the feature. The dark theme essentially inverts the colour of the YouTube app UI, replacing the white background with black. The feature is already available for desktop users. Dark mode turns the interface all black and reduces strain on the eyes while navigating the app, especially at night.
The inverted theme has become quite popular on several applications such as Twitter. According to YouTube, the dark theme has been one of the most requested features for the mobile versions.
It was recently revealed by YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki that the video streaming platform has 1.9 billion users monthly active users and that users watch 180 million hours worth videos on TV screens a month. The company is also planning its original programming to the Indian market, along with Japan, France, Germany and Mexico, to compete better with the likes of Netflix, Hotstar, and Amazon Prime Video.
Note that the feature is being rolled out gradually. So if you haven’t received the feature yet, you should in the coming days. Here’s how to enable YouTube dark mode on your Android phone.
Step 1: Launch the YouTube application.
Step 2: Tap on your profile icon that appears on the right top corner.
Step 3: Go to Settings -> General.
Step 4: Tap on the toggle for “Dark theme” to enable it.
Step 5: Tap on the back button, the theme is automatically saved.
